This is one of my favourite lakes. It's Agimak Lake which is right in the Township of Ignace where I lived for five years in the 80's. Ignace is one of the communities which is studied as part of Geography 3496.
Sue Heffernan is a PhD graduate from Laurentian University in Sudbury, Ontario. Her research examined the impact of the Cold War on northern Ontario and she conducted a case study of a radar base community in the Pinetree Radar Line. Sue has an undergraduate degree in Environmental Studies and a Masters in Regional Planning and Resource Development from University of Waterloo. She has lived and worked in the North for over 35 years.
