Five out of eight groups have emailed in their Project Themes and received the OK to keep working on their topic (deadline for the email is Sept.21st, midnight). Check your Laurentian University email to see if your topic was ok'd.
If you miss tonight's deadline then send in your Issue topic asap (see the course outline if you're scratching your head right now trying to figure out this deadline).

Before next class--which is October 2nd--read the Population article in the course pack and Chapter 4 of the text. We will cover Population issues during class and also wrap up World War Two coverage with the Alaska Highway.
If time permits, we will be doing an in-class map project.
