Other good stuff--
1. we just had some beautiful summer days-first real hot days since June
2. Globe and Mail is running a series on Nunavut (focusing on Iqaluit as Prime Minister Harper tours the north).
3.-oh yeah---most important of all--there's a beautiful new baby in Winnipeg called Jack (congrats to Jessie and Joel and to all the new grandparents!).
4. Our class speaker is confirmed for October 8th--Louise Atkins. Louise is Director of Innovation and Partnerships for INAC. Great speaker and very knowledgeable about the north.
How's that for an eclectic post!
